―― What makes this club and the team special?
Bali United has good Organization from management and think about players and coaches. Also always making good improvements in the facilities and great atmosphere in the Stadium. Now we are making a new training center. We are always trying to make improvement to be a better club.
―― How is the youth system(U18) in the club?
We have the U18 team but one of the problem is that the competition in Indonesia for the youth is very short.So youth players don’t play many official games during the year and if there are no games its hard to develop a player only in training. Players learn a lot from competitive games, so this is a point where we should try to improve.
―― Are there particular methods to the youth(U18) team in the club? What’s important for these players your age? Also What would be the criteria to play in the top team?
The youth teams try to use the same tactical system that the top team use. Here in Bali United we are using 4-3-3 when we have the ball and 4-5-1 when defending. We require the players to be in very good physical condition to play the game we want to play. For me the most important is to develop the thecnical quality like passing , shooting, crossing , and heading at youth. To bring the players up to the top team, we get all informations from the head coach of the youth team. After that we put the players in the training with the top team, and we make sure to give them time to adapt before put them to play on the professional games.
